Protect every inch of your course.
Automatically.

CourseGuard physically stops golf carts before they reach greens, tee boxes, hazards, or your property line. Not an alert. Not a buzzer. The engine shuts off.

Fail-safe — carts are never stranded
No monthly fees — ever
Works on any golf cart
Designed & built in Texas

Three steps. That's it.

No complicated setup. No training required. No ongoing management.

1

You draw the boundaries

Connect to the device WiFi from your phone. Draw boundaries around greens, tee boxes, hazards, property lines — anything you want to protect. Takes minutes.

2

We install it

CourseGuard installs directly on the cart. Simple wiring, compact footprint. Move it between carts whenever you want — it's yours.

3

Carts stop themselves

When a cart crosses a boundary, the engine stops and an alarm sounds. The driver puts it in reverse and drives away. No staff, no phone calls.

Other systems send alerts.
CourseGuard stops the cart.

Most GPS cart systems notify your staff when a cart goes somewhere it shouldn't. By then, the damage is already done. CourseGuard is different.

Alert-based systems
  • Sends a notification to the pro shop
  • Staff has to find and intercept the cart
  • Golfer can ignore warnings entirely
  • $20–35 per cart per month, forever
  • Requires cellular data and cloud service
CourseGuard
  • Engine shuts off the moment a boundary is crossed
  • Driver reverses and drives away — no staff needed
  • Cart physically cannot enter the restricted area
  • One-time purchase — no subscriptions, ever
  • Works offline — no cellular, no cloud, no dependency

What this means for your course

Protect what matters most

Greens, tee boxes, garden beds, hazards, property lines — draw a boundary around anything. Carts physically cannot cross it.

Redraw zones anytime

New landscaping? Seasonal closure? Course renovation? Open the dashboard from your phone, draw the new boundary. Done in seconds.

Golfers stay safe

If GPS drops or anything goes wrong, the engine keeps running. Carts are never stranded on the course. The system recovers on its own.

Buy it once, own it forever

No subscriptions. No cloud fees. No recurring costs. One purchase, and it's yours. Move it to a different cart or a new fleet whenever you want.

Drivers fix it themselves

Cart enters a zone — it stops. Driver shifts to reverse — it starts right back up. No key turn, no restart, no call to the pro shop.

Manage from any phone

No app to install. Connect to the "Distance Assistant" WiFi, open your browser. Draw zones, update firmware, adjust settings — all from your phone.

What superintendents ask us

What happens if the GPS signal drops?

The engine keeps running. CourseGuard is fail-safe by design — if GPS is lost, the system restores engine power and silences the alarm. When the signal comes back, protection resumes automatically. Golfers are never stranded.

How does the cart "stop"?

CourseGuard interrupts the engine's control circuit. When a cart enters a restricted zone, the engine shuts off and an audible alarm sounds. When the driver shifts to reverse, the engine restores immediately — no restart needed.

Can golfers just drive around the boundary?

Boundaries are invisible to the driver and match the exact shape of the area you're protecting. There's nothing to drive around — the cart simply won't go there.

How accurate is it?

GPS accuracy is approximately 2.5 meters. The system checks position every second. For most greens and tee boxes, this is more than precise enough to prevent damage.

Is there a monthly fee?

No. You buy the device and you own it. There are no subscriptions, no cloud services, no recurring costs of any kind. Updates are free and done wirelessly.

Can I move it to a different cart?

Yes. CourseGuard is fully transferable. Move it between carts, or take it with you to an entirely new fleet. The zones are stored on the device itself.

How many zones can I set up?

As many as you need. Every green, tee box, garden bed, maintenance area, property boundary, or seasonal closure — there's no limit.

How is this different from GPS tracking systems?

Tracking systems send alerts when a cart enters a restricted area. By the time staff responds, the damage is done. CourseGuard doesn't alert — it physically stops the engine. The cart cannot enter the area. No staff intervention required.

Does it keep carts on property too?

Yes. You can draw boundaries around your entire property line. If a cart approaches the edge, the engine shuts off just like it would near a green. Works for any area you want to protect.
